Well the weekend of the july 2,3, and 4 was amazing, Canadian Casual Kilts was in Kincardine for their Scottish Festival and let me tell you it was amazing and successful to us .
Kincardine is a beautiful place and the games itself is held at Victoria park . The festival is small but has many things to offer for the on looker , this year had 29 grade 1 pipe bands were competing , heavy events and lets not forget the entertain , great acts like the Glengarry Bhoys ( we make kilts for Ewan and Darcy) the Throgs local group play Scottish and Irish tunes , Poor Angus, from Hamilton giving there spin on a few classics, and from Dallas Texas NeedFire ther fusion of blues and jazz mixed with modern celtic music.
I didn't get a chane to take any reaaly good pics as I was really busy in my booth with customer and people just asking question about Canadian Casual Kilts. We were so pleased to be apart of the Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland games, and can"t wait till next year.
On another note we at Canadian Casual Kilts would like to introduce something new to our line of tartans this Tartan is called the Black Isle it is a black on black tartan the tartan we are having it woven in our poly/viscose that we did the Canadian Maple Leaf ,and the Isle of Skye .
